This Is Why I Do Not Have Boys!

Rickee and McKamree found some old handcuffs Bryan has had since he was a teenager. They thought it would be great fun to play with them. After a few minutes, Rickee put them on Kam tight enough that she couldn't slip them off. She was stuck! They came to me and I told them to go and get the key. I just figured that if they were putting them on each other they knew where the key was. WRONG! They didn't have the key and of course, couldn't find it. I called Bryan and he told me where the key was. I found it quickly because Kam was starting to panic. I put the key in, turned it and it broke! The key broke off in the lock! I called my brother-in-law, who is a Highway Patrol Officer, he was at work. I called my neighbor, Britton, I thought he might have handcuffs, he was not home. I called my dad, he was at work still so I called my father-in-law. We loaded up and went for a ride to his house. He fiddled with the cuffs for a few minutes and then squished Kam's hands and just pulled the cuffs off! Thank heaven for Grandpa!! Kam is now free and happy. We will not be playing with "boys toys" at our house any more. Dolls are not harmful to our health!

Hmmm...I may have to borrow those. I have two boys that I would like to put in "jail" every once in awhile. :)

Oh that makes me laugh and laugh and laugh. I don't even have boy toys like that!

That is too funny! The handcuffs we have at our house aren't real ones, they have a little button you can press to undo them without using the key.
What an ordeal!

Hmm, why do you have hand cuffs? ;)
I'm glad she's okay, that must have been a little scary.
