Over Spring Break some friends invited us to go camping with them to Palisades State Park just outside of Manti. We were really excited to go until it started snowing here on Wednesday. Bryan and the girls really wanted to still go camping so we packed up in the snow and headed out Thursday morning. There were five families that went so there were plenty of friends for everyone. It is an annual trip for the others. They claim it is never that cold. Maybe, we will be up for it again next year if there is no snow! When we got to the campground there was snow everywhere. Luckily, we were prepared with long sleeves, jackets, coats and gloves. The girls played outside for a while but as soon as the sun started to set we were trailer bound. It was soooooo cold! We played games, read books and snuggled under lots of blankets!(Kamree, Kenzee and Rickee)
The next day after the sun had been up for several hours we ventured out into the snow. I scrapped the tables off with Bryan's window scrapper hoping to be able to use it later in the day. There was a couple of inches of snow on it. Eventually, the sun melted all the snow and we had a good day. (Bryan)The kids had fun playing at the lake catching minnows,(Kamree)

Thanks to Beth there were a few "Golden Bunnies" to be found. Rickee was a sharp looker and found one.

Woweee! Yoiu guys are daring! I've been getting the camping itch lately but I think I'd rather stay in my warm, cozy house until it al least reaches...60 degrees. Then it's time to do some serious camping!!! Cute pictures and I love that you guys are so brave. What fun memories!!!
You're crazy....but wonderful! Think of all the memories you're making with you family.
How FUUUUUN! Oh I want to go!
