Kenzee Dances in St George

On our way home from Disneyland, we stopped in St. George for Kenzee's dance competition. We arrived Friday night just in time for dinner. My wonderful parents met us and stayed with us in a beautiful condo. They came all the way to St. George to support Kenzee (aren't they the best Grandparents ever?). Friday night we stayed up way to late to watch The Blindside. Then got up early to get Kenzee to her competition. They did great!
He's a Pirate took 2nd place.
Falling Slowly took 3rd place. Of course I thought they both should have taken 1st place but what do moms know? Kenzee danced amazing!

After the competition we went to a park and had lunch with the Beesleys and the Yosts. It was so fun to be in St. George with friends. Kenzee had a great time with her friends, too. They "hung out" every second they could.

The Yosts came to our condo and swam for the afternoon. It was a bit chilly. Tamera and I sat on the side in lounge chairs with our jackets on while the kids swam.

For some reason, the kids don't feel temperature like us old people do. The girls had a great time with Megan and Devon.

That night we went to our favorite St. George hangout: The Pizza Factory. Then back home to do laundry, relax, and sleep. Kenzee and her friends stayed at our condo til about 10:00 and then headed to Tamera's for a sleepover. (Thanks Tamera!) The next morning we packed up and went home. It was a short but fun stay in St. George. Of course, we had a great time because we were with Grandpa and Grandma Bird. They spoil all of us way to much!!
