Kenzee is Recognized by President Obama

Yesterday morning I had the opportunity to go to Kenzee's school for the 9th Grade Awards Assembly. The Administration at South Hills Middle School congratulated all of the students for they excellent achievements and behavior. They said they have never had a 9th grade class as great as these kids were. They gave out more awards this year than any other year at SHMS. All of the teachers complimented the kids on how great they were and how hard it was to narrow down who was to receive the awards. What a great bunch of kids! I am a bit bias but I do think they are great. I have been so impressed with Kenzee and all of her friends since we moved here!

Now to how great my child is...Kenzee was presented with the Gold Presidential Award of Outstanding Academic Excellence!

That means that she earned a 3.7 grade point average every quarter for the past three years she attended middle school! That is a huge accomplishment! I am so proud of her! She works really hard to get good grades and it means a lot to her to get A's.

She got a certificate that is signed by the U.S. Secretary of Education, the Principal of SHMS and President Obama! I am so proud of her and all of her hard work! She is an amazing child and I am so glad to call her my own! She makes me proud everyday to be her mom!
There was an amazing 85 students in her 9th grade class who received this award. There was another 60 who received the Silver Presidential Award which means they had a 3.5 - 3.7 GPA all through Middle School. That is incredible to me!
Congrats Kenzee!!! Love you lots! You make me proud!
Now on to High School!
