Well, it didn't take long for the newness of having a baby 24/7 to wear off. By day 3 1/2 (friday night) the baby was interfering with Kenzee's social life. When she went off to play "night games" with her friends, she ran in the house with J.J., plopped him down of the couch without a word and ran back outside.
Saturday was no different! Luckily, Kamree and Rickee were still a bit interested and babysat most of the day for Kenzee and Cassidy (Kenzee's friend).
Day 5 J.J. was ignored most of the day, even by Kam and Rickee. By day 6 J.J. was a huge inconvenience and Kenzee wanted nothing to do with him. Day 7 could not come fast enough and by the time she took him back to school he was completely ignored by the whole family.
The Moral of the Assignment: Teenagers are NOT ready to become full time parents! (Even to a bag of salt.) Hopefully Kenzee learned her lesson and realized, just a bit, what a huge commitment having a child is.

I remember the bag of salt! It was so fun decorating/dressing up my baby, but it didn't last long for me either... poor neglected salt!
