Finally, the long awaited McKinnon Christmas party came and went.The kids wait every year for the party at Grandpa and Grandma Bird's house.
It is with my extended family and so there is about 55-60 grandmas, grandpas, aunts,
uncles and cousins there. The kids have so much fun playing with 2nd cousins they only
see a few times a year. The grown ups sit around, eat and talk about the good old days. The kids sing carols while waiting for Santa to come. No one
ever tells the kids he is coming but it is common knowedge that Santa and Grandpa Bird are
good friends. I asked Rickee if she thought Santa would come and she looked at me
as said, "Of course, Grandpa and Santa are friends and so he will want to come to see us again
this year!" Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for the wonderful Christmas traditions and memories! We love you!

That is so great you have a big extended family that has lots of fun together! Santa and all...I'm impressed!
Those grandparents always have it in Santa, I use to wonder why Santa left more presents at my grandma's house for Christmas than he did at our house.
