Chicks, Bunnies and Ducks Oh, My

We went to IFA for a "home school fieldtrip" while the girls were home for spring break. It was alot of fun! We went to see and pet the bunnies first and while we were there the workers cam to unload chicks they had just got delivered from the post office. The poor little chicks were crammed in a box and mailed! We watched as they unloaded, put up heat lamps, put out food and water to about 350 chicks. I have to admit it was very tempting to bring one of those cute little things home for Easter. They are sooooo cute. I can see why parents buy them for their kids Easter baskets! We also saw baby duck and geese. The baby geese are so cute and look just like the ugly duckling!
Next we were petting the bunnies and Rickee told a very nice employee that she liked this bunny so the lady went and picked it up and let her hold it. There was a big sign that said, "Please do not hold the bunnies!" so she was thrilled!Once Rickee got to hold one all the other girls wanted to so the lady got out the one Kam liked and they all took turns. Kenzee decided she now wants a bunny! I told her we cannot have anything else at our house that poops! Four kids and two dogs are enough!
McKaylee liked the white one like Rickee!
This one was Kams favorite.
I hope they don't talk dad into getting one!! Cute but too much poop!
Thanks IFA for the free, fun and educational outing!
