Fun in the Sun!

We were able to go to St. George last weekend for McKenzee to compete
in a dance compition. Of course, we had to play while we were there!
We had so much fun playing in the sun!
This is me and my girls on our hotel balcony!

We found a park to let the girls play in while we were waiting for our
turn at The Pizza Factory! They loved it! (Look they are wearing capris and flip flops)

This is a tradition of ours: to eat a The Pizza Factory at least once while we are
in St. George! It is very yummy and we all look forward to our dinner while we are
there. This is Kam, my dad, Kenzee, my mom and McKaylee at dinner! Love it!!
The bread twists are to die for!
Of course we had lots of swimming time! On friday morning the girls
all got up and put on their swim suit before breakfast. They wanted to swim even though
it was a chilly 38 degrees! Mom had other plans, we went to the Johnson Farm Dinosaur Museum and then met the Yost's for lunch at In N Out Burger! It was finally warm enough so we all went back to our hotel to swim!
We also found a great park that had these climbing rocks at it. The girls and Bryan could all climb up them, even Rickee. It was so fun to play on them and then walk around the park. It had a walking trail with large rocks, a stream, wild life (snakes and lizards) and lots of fun plants to look at. It was just so nice to be outside in the sunshine for a while!
McKenzee did a great job dancing! I am very glad we got to go and watch her! Rickee wanted Kenzee to win!
The Good:
St. George sunshine!
The Bad:
Rickee and Kamree were sick almost the whole time we were there!
And The Ugly:
Our pasty white winter bodies in swim suits!
Overall we had a great time together with Grandpa and Grandma Bird and each other! Good memories to prove to my kids that their childhood is not all bad! (he, he, he)

Yay for a fun weekend in WARM weather! Sun sure makes all the difference. There is only so much sledding and snowman building that is "fun." And I LOVE the Pizza Factory. I always go when I am in Pleasant Grove or Provo. Their bread sticks are the BEST!
