My new hero is "The Grocery Guru"!!!
Carolee, Tamera and I went to a workshop and shopping with the grocery guru a couple of weeks ago. He was amazing. He told us how we could save up to 75% on our groceries, clothing, eating out, etc. every week. Of course, you need to follow his plan. I was a bit skeptical but after we went shopping with him, I was a believer!
We got a whole shopping cart full of food for only $37.00. The incredible part was, we saved over $80.00. The lady at the gym who arranged and invited us, said she did it every week and her pantry is over flowing with food. She can't believe how much she saves every week. So, I decided, I was going to try.
Yesterday, I went on the website, made my shopping list, found the coupons and went shopping. It was a little overwhelming and took quite a while to get everything organized. The store was a bit crazy and they were out of several things, but over all it was good. I got all this food and only spent $39.56. I saved, with my Albertsons card and coupons, $85.02. 36 itmes for only $39.56, that's just over a dollar per item! Amazing!!! I am very excited to continue using the grocery guru's plan and get my pantry and storage room full of cheap food! Ahhhhh!My hero!!!

That's great! I don't "grocery guru", but I am a firm believer in price matching and coupon clipping! I love saving money! :)
Awesome! I like to think that time I spend saving money is like $ per hour. So with shopping researching etc, you were worth 25-35$ per hour. Suh-weet!
