We just got a new pool to try to keep us cool during this hot, hot summer. It says on the box, "Ready for water in just 30 minutes." NOT!!! Bryan work on it all day. First, he had to dig up grass, level the ground, put 2 truck loads of sand down and then level it. Then we go the pool out. With help from everyone we finally got it ready for water at about 5:00 pm.
The girls were so excited to swim, that after about 3 hours we couldn't keep them out.
As you can see, it is only a few inches deep. It took a total of 25 hours to fill the pool. I am not looking forward to our water bill this month (OUCH). It is so much fun. I can't keep the kids out! We will definitely get our money's worth this summer!Thanks Grandma!!

25 hours! It sure looks worth it though...I think we may be jealous.
I am so tired of re-blowing up our pool that doesn't like to hold air EVERY time the kids want to swim. No fun at all. So I guess be thankful that after 25+ hours, you are done in one shot! :)
