We went to our ward's Annual Picnic at Copperton Park. The kids had a blast. We haven't been to that park for a couple of years and I forgot how fun it is. They loved climbing on the big tires, climbing up the huge brick mountain and sliding down the fast slide. And monkey bars are always a hit with my girls!

The activities committee even planned some fun games. They had a raw egg toss that McKaylee almost won until she threw the egg a bit to hard for her friend to catch and a "pie in your face" musical game. They played music and passed around a pie plate full of whipped cream. When the music stopped, the person holding the pie had to smash their face in it. Everyone who played was a really good sport about it. The kids thought it was tons of fun!
I couldn't believe Kamree wanted to play but she really got into it.

It was a lot of fun! We need to go to that park a little more often!

What a fun ward party...although, I am not sure I would have volunteered to smash whip cream in my face!
